Who I Am In Christ
I am healed by the wounds of Jesus - 1 Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: BY WHOSE STRIPES YE WERE HEALED.
I am built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ Himself as the chief cornerstone - Ephesians 2:20
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
I am in Jesus Christ by God's act - 1 Corinthians 1:30

God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Having Hopes and Patiently Waiting
Romans 8:25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
I have been hoping for several things. I hope to marry one day and have children, I hope and pray that my dreams will come to fruition soon, I hope and believe to get out of debt real soon. I hope poverty and hunger is alleviated. I hope to go GIA (Gemological Institute of America) for my G.G. certificate. You get the point. But there is a problem I have. Patience! I’ve been waiting for years for my dreams to come to pass and at times I feel as if I’ve been patient enough. It got to the point where I almost completely gave up on my dreams but God would not let me. There are still some issues I am struggling with with one of my dreams that has to be settled. But God! I had to re-learn how to be patient and wait on God’s timing. It is not easy and at times I get frustrated but I’m still waiting on God!
They say patience is a virtue. Do you have this virtue?

WHO I AM IN CHRIST
First Thessalonians 5:23 states that we are spirit, soul, and body. Normally, we feed the body three meals a day. The soul is educated and fed emotionally. This exercise is designed to nourish the spirit, that part of us in which God dwells. Study the following scriptures together and individually to discover who you are in Christ.

In June 2010, I became a Lia Sophia Jewelry Advisor. Lia Sophia is a direct marketing fashion jewelry company that sells high end fashion bracelets, necklaces, earrings, rings, pendants and anklets. The company started in the 1970s as Remington and when it was bought out by the Kiam family, it was renamed Lia Sophia after the company's CEO's two daughters, Lia And Sophia.
I joined Lia Sophia because I wanted to earn extra money doing something part time and I like fashion jewelry. Back in junior high and high school, I was big on fashion jewelry and fashionably accessorized my outfits everyday. As an advisor, I conduct jewelry parties and catalog shows for persons who want to host a Lia Sophia jewelry party, and I earn 30% of sales!

Update....It's 2011... What's new since 12/2009!
Wow, I haven't posted a blog since December 2009! Time sure has gone by fast. Well, what's new since then?! I am currently working full-time in Accounts Payable and was just hired permanently in January 2011! Thank you Jesus! I am a Lia Sophia Fashion Jewelry Advisor and I just launched my own online fashion jewelry boutique Virtuous Jewels about a month ago I'll do a separate blog for each of my jewelry endeavors. What else?! I'm still single and still pursuing financing for my fine jewelry design firm LKG Designs Inc. I've also begun a lifestyle change of eating more healthy and losing excess weight! So I'll be posting about my 'Back to True Health' journey as well as Scriptures, inspirational topics, jewelry and I'll be posting videos as well. And just being Kenya!
